Hello all,
Here's the general context of my question: I'm working on a large project with multiple chronological versions of files (i.e. I get the initial version in January, translate it, then get a second/third/fourth version two/three/four weeks later).
Using my TM I can zip through the newest document versions really quickly... except for the many figures in the many tables. In the very first version I translate, I use the autopropagation feature, which works well. However, these figures-only segments aren't stored in the TM, even after the segment is confirmed. As a result, when version 2 comes around, I have to reconfirm all of them.
In playing around with Studio, I've discovered that if I uncheck "recognize numbers" in the TM settings, I can get the TM to store these figures-only segments for subsequent versions of the document. However, it seems that this disables the autopropagation.
So my question: is there a way to ensure that autopropagated, figures-only segments are stored in the TM so I don't have to waste time reconfirming identical segments when I translate additional versions of the same document?
Thanks in advance!
Hanna
