I need to make translation memory more usable.

Question

I have a TM that is over 154 MB. It is also old. Suggestions come up that haven't been used in years. 
 Is there a way that I can identify units that haven't been used for 3 years or more and delete them?

Yes... you can open your TM in the Translation Memories View and then create a filter that looks for all TUs that were used before a certain date. Then use that filter in the Batch Delete feature in the Tasks Group of the Home Ribbon to delete all the TUs that met that criteria.
