"The requested data file could not be located" error on opening Trados Studio 2017 Translation Memories

Dear All! 
 For a few days I have the following error. When I try to start the program after initializing translation memories i receive the 2nd picture with error message "The requested data file could not be located" I tried many things found here and google searches. 
 Delete list of TMs open in Translation Memory view 
 C:\Users\ [yourusername] \AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0 
 Rename the TranslationMemoryRepository.xml for example to TranslationMemoryRepository.xml_OLD 
 
 I made a clean reinstall, deleted manually all folders, founded registry entries. The error comes again and the program is not useable. 
 After reinstalling found new updates which was installed succesfuly no errors during install 
 
 I am waiting for your help

I think the first thing you need to do is to reset Studio fully- 
 
 gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge 
 
Once reset- are you now able to open Studio?

The problem with simply re-installing Studio, is that if there are any corrupt files left on the PC, then the reinstall may simply 'pick up' these bad files and you are back to square one with the same issues. 
Renaming the files however renders these completely obsolete and inactive- (but still visible). 
Now when Studio restarts, it creates new clean files/directories and in the majority of cases the problem is solved. 
Also, by renaming folders, this allows you to back track/restore certain actions (if required) and allows for deeper investigation which of course is not possible if you have deleted the files
