Multiple errors + QA checker blocked when trying to process multiple xliff files that were originally alignments

Hello,

After proofreading a long, multi-slide excel document, I aligned it, and now I'd like to import it into the TM but first I want to run our termbase and QA verifications that are only available in Editor. So I saved the 15 align files as xliff files, started a new project, loaded the folder where the xliffs were, and then prepared the project. When I try to open the multiple xliffs for translation (or review), I get these errors:

Then I click okay and editor populates. Then this error plus the very strange "Check out require" message which I've never seen before.

Then I get another "The path is not of a legal form" error immediately, then every single time I move to another segment.

Plus "verify" is greyed out, which was the very point of going through this process.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong and/or if what I want to do is even possible and/or if there's a better way to do it?

    Hi 

    Someone already has started to assist you, originally , then more recently  asked you the following questions:

    "Could you please check on your disk that if the folders you selected in the application are actually there?

    If at that path you can not find the folder please don't select that particular path in the grid.

    Please tell me if after this you are able to use the Freshstart app."

    I'm sure, as she asked you these questions, that she is willing to assist you but you need to reply to her first with answers to her questions or a request for clarification if you do not understand them.

    Using "Freshstart" is not my problem. It was suggested to me as way reset Trados in an efficient way that could fix my original problem. It didn't work. So I resetted it manually. Still, my original problem remains. Once I did the reset, I deleted Freshstart because it wasted my time and would require me to apply for permission to use the software from our Data Systems Department. The person asking me about Freshstart ignored my original problem, so I'm not obliged to reply to someone who seemed less concerned with my original issue, but more on Freshstart. Now, you as well, instead of trying to help me solve my problem, have forced me to write this unnecessary explanation.

    So, politely, can anyone help me solve my problem (see title)?

    Thanks for the explanation   The person asking the question was actually the developer of the application so she was interested to help with the problem you encountered using it.  Given you tried it and posted a problem with it I think it's perfectly reasonable, and helpful, for her to try and assist.

    I tested your files and have exactly the same problem.  I raised this with the support team for investigation and once I have some feedback I will respond to you.  It doesn't look like you have a quick solution and will have to refrain from trying to merge the files for these checks for the time being.  Perhaps you could update the alignments into a TM and then pretranslate the original source files for QA?  Maybe that would give you a workaround instead?

    You got the same problem eh? Crazy. Anyway, thank you for checking with the support team. Would appreciate the feedback once you hear back because I'll probably be doing this a lot. But I'll take your advice with the workaround. I never thought of doing that. Appreciated.
