Disabling Preview/ Error "Unable to generate the file for previewing. The document may no longer be available"

Question

Hello, 
 I have been getting the error "Unable to generate the file for previewing. The document may no longer be available" each time I confirm a segment. Could someone please tell me what this means and how to disable preview. I tried the suggestion of assigning a keyboard shortcut, which I found in the forum. That has unfortunately not helped :(. Does someone have another suggestion?

I can see that you are running Studio 2017 and I seem to remember this was a problem that was fixed in a Studio update (CU) late last year and was something to do with Microsoft Word DOCX (WordprocessingML v. 2). 
 
If you dont have admin rights, it might we worth asking your IT department to install the last CU updates that could resolve this problem for you. The specific update is desrcibed here as follows 
 
Cumulative Update 8 for SDL Trados Studio 2017 SR1 (Build 14.1.6413.8, Released on 13 November 2017)
