'No open translation memory' when working on project

Hi

I've set up a project with many files, and a TM from the client. The first few files worked fine. Now, though, I can't seem to access my TM

When I go into Project Settings, the TM is there, and ticked. But as you can see from the screenshot, I am also getting a message that there are 'no open TMs'. So I cannot access the TM, or add to it, as I work.

I've tried setting up a new project, because I wondered if I'd set up the first one incorrectly (although as I said, the first few files did work properly). But that made no difference.

Please help - my deadline looms...

TIA,

Liz

  • Hi Paul
Screenshot not working for some reason (aaargh). Have checked your points 1 and 2 above. Is it possible that the TM my client sent me has somehow got corrupted? It's very odd as it worked fine for the first few files in the project. Right now, because time is of the essence, I'm looking for an easy workaround. I'm wondering if I'm better of translating each individual file as single documents and then importing them into a new memory that I can send to the client along with the sdlxliff files. I think that'd work but is very time consuming. If you have any better ideas, I'd be very happy to hear them!
    Thanks, Liz
