Hi everyone,
I would like to translate 2 tags from a MIF file but I don't know how to do it, as they seem to be non-translatable.
In the screenshot below you can find the text that I need to translate inside the tag, which is value="Navigating through menus" and also "page 17"
Does anyone have an idea of what I should do?

I am guessing here that you do not need to worry about translating those attribute values - <xr> would probably mean a cross-reference in FrameMaker and also page number value should be auto-populated by FrameMaker as part of auto-pagination. My DTPer would say please don't try translating those.

Hi Laura,
check the settings of the MIF filetype. Under the Common section you can select/deselect several items starting witn Process ...
If you select the relevant items, it is likely that "Navigating through menus" and "Page" will appear among the first segments (before the actual text) when you translate in the Trados editor. If you translate these segments then they will be automatically entered in the target file.
