Hi, I hope someone will be able to help cause this is driving me nuts and has been for some time. This question applies to ALL of the versions of Trados in my case, up to and including 2017 Freelance Studio Plus

I am a Spanish to English translator and some long time ago I translated "LOPD" as "Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPD)". As you can see "LOPD" is one word in capital letters. Now the memory always takes any single word in capital letters (e.g. ABC, RELOJ or DISTRIBUIDORA) and enters "Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPD)" as the translation and automatically confirms it. This means that I cannot trust the memory to automatically fill in terms in a large translation which are repeated from one version of a document to the next because I know it will keep filling in this rubbish.

I am guessing it is something I have done in the settings but I cannot find a way to stop it doing this.

Obviously what I would like to do is to allow the memory to automatically generate translations but without this problem continuing

Can anyone help please?
