Hello,

We will be sending out a journal with a dozen articles to a translation company tomorrow. We'd like to first leverage our TM data and send partially completed xliff files within a package to the translation company. Going through each of the articles and confirming and locking the fuzzy segments, locking segments that don't need to be translated, and merging/splitting certain segments will take a lot of time. We have a time frame of when we get the IDML files at 10 am tomorrow, to have a completed package ready by 5 pm. So with a dozen or more articles to go through in a relatively short time, I thought about two options. 

The first option would be to divide up the IDML files between myself and two other people and do all the TM leveraging and xliff preparation separately on different computers. This would be ideal as each other person could get familiar with the preparation process as well as scan the source materials without being stressed for time. Then with prepared xliffs, somehow combine the xliffs together into one package and send the package off with the IDML files that would still able to produce the final translation in IDML format. Is this possible?

Otherwise, the second option would be just for one person to fly through the preparation and package making process. This would improve cross article/file consistency (a bit) and guarantee that the IDML can be created in the target language but would also burden one of us while the other two do nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on this situation?
