Hello!

I have problems with the Verify function. Although I have all the relevant options activated, Verify doesn't detect missing/wrong numbers or other issues (e.g. blank space before full stop). It just warns about tag issues and little more. What can this be due to? I am using the 2017 version, but the same thing occurred with 2015 and 2014 if I don't remember wrong, and it occurs also with both my computers.

    Hello Liisa,
    To get this functionality (extra space before a full stop), I go into File | Options | Verification | QA Checker 3.0 | Punctuation. In the entry for 'Check for unintentional spaces before', I add a full stop to their already populated list. Another one I add to this list is the ending parenthesis ")" which will also notify you if there is an additional space before ")".

    To be completely honest, I use XBench 3.0 to detect the number issues - mismatched/missing numbers. This will bring up false positives (false errors), but I find XBench better to use, specifically for the numbers.
