Hello Nathalie Zanardi (NathalieZanardi) ,
This file type already exist in Studio 2017, all you need to do is to activate it. In order to do that, please opens Studio --> File --> Options --> File Types and check the corresponding box.

Hi Nathalie Zanardi,
Have you scrolled down, it could be further down the list. If you want it to take priority, you can move it up the list to the position above the others.
Also, it has to be ticked. I presume you are looking via File > Options rather than Project settings?
All the best,
Ali
Good point, Evzen!
Hi again Nathalie Zanardi ,
To check your version click the Help tab in Studio and select 'About SDL Trados Studio 2017':
If it's a version that predates CU 8 (Cumulative Update 8), you need to update. In the same tab above, select 'Check for Updates'.
It may be that your system is set to download updates but not install them, in which case you'll find out what updates are available by clicking on the Notifications button, here:
If there's an update waiting to be installed, you'll see it and be given the opportunity to install it.
It is always best to keep Studio up-to-date. You can choose to do this manually, semi-automatically or fully automatically via File>Options:
I think the default is the middle one (?), so that's why I suggested looking under 'Notifications'
I prefer to allow Studio to perform the whole process automatically but of course there can be reasons to choose the time to do it.
I hope this sorts the problem out,
All the best,
Ali

That is, unfortunately, HIGHLY QUESTIONNABLE suggestion...
Studio is, unfortunately, going down the drain with every update in that last year or so... :-\
