What if any versions of Open XML SDK (2.6, 2.7, 2.8) are compatible with Trados Studio 2017?

What if any versions of Open XML SDK (2.6, 2.7, 2.8) are compatible with Trados Studio 2017? We want to upgrade to Trados Studio 2017 and also Open XML SDK 2.8 but we are not sure if they are compatible. We could upgrade Open XML SDK to the latest version which is compatible to Trados Studio 2017.

Hi, 
Trados 2017 SR1 currently ships with and makes use of open xml 2.7.2. That is, the assemblies are in the Trados installation folder.

Can you provide some more information around what you are trying to achieve with this? I think it would help to get you the answer you are looking for. This library is used to read office files, so as David explained we use it in Studio 2017, but not version 2.8. This library versioning is not linked to office releases so it would be helpful to understand what compatibility means for you and also why you want to upgrade to this version?
