This very useful option has helped me all the time, removing the unnecessary formatting from my files to translation. However, there is a problem with it, which I recently experienced.
While it makes much sense to remove the extra spacing and kerning, added manually ON TOP of the style used, it makes big trouble, when you remove this from the styles used by the customer. In my recent case the customer defined more or less 50 styles, many of those using spationed text. After I have delivered my translation all this attributes were removed from the styles and I had a quite bit problem with the customer.
So in my opinion this option should be modified NOT to remove the kerning and tracking from the styles, but only from the local formatting. Shall I post that as an idea?
