Tracked changes are shown in Source segment, but not transported to Target segment and offered for translation

In Studio 2017, we have an issue with "tracked changes" that we would like to have solved asap.

Our client has sent us a MS Word document with tracked changes for translation. What they want is a translated version of this document containing the exact same tracked changes as in the source language - but just translated into the target language. These tracked changes should be marked exactly as in the source language in MS Word. So we would need translate everything - the complete document text including the deleted and added parts.

In the File Types section, using the various file types for MS Word documents, it's for instance possible to disable the option "Apply Track Changes before opening" (MS Word 2007-2016) or to select "Display pending changes" in the list "Track changes extraction mode" (MS Word 2007-2013). These settings allow us to see the tracked changes (deleted and added parts) in the Source segment. However, these are NOT transported to the Target segment and offered there for translation as intended. Only the "final text" (that is, the text as it would look like after accepting all the tracked changes) is transported to the Target segment. What can we do to create the intended scenario in Studio?

One more strange issue in Studio with this file is that the document contains yellow highlightings. These yellow highlighted text parts are shown with tags around them in Editor. However, we cannot insert this type of tags in the Target segment as usually can with other tags. The only workaround is to copy the content of the Source segment and insert it into the Target segment. Then the tags for yellow highlighting are available in the Target segment. However, that is not very productive way to work, if you for instance have a high match percentage, and the only difference between the translation result from the TM are the highlighting tags. Do you have any idea, what we can do here?
