Why Bengali (Bangla) Vowel Typing Sequence Deletes Previous Character?

I am a Bengali (Bangla) user of Trados. Me and my colleagues have been facing this problem of getting previous character deleted after typing a vowel. If I want to type মই, I end up typing ই as previous character ম gets deleted. To type a vowel in Bengali requires a sequence of key-strokes (Like: to type ই, we need to type g+d). To avoid the previous character deletion, I give one extra space before typing a vowel, which is not a good solution. My colleague use MS Word to type, and copy/paste in Trados. Similar problem we used to face in Photoshop and Illustrator, but they solved the problem. My concern is, while Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, Powerpoint, etc. has solved this, why should Trados has it!
