Excel file with values (not a live a text)

Question

Hi all, 
 
 I hope I described the subject properly. 
 
 Anyway, I have an Excel file from a client that seems to be as a regular Excel file, but the content is like this (this is the text when you double click the cell): 
 ="Globus Publisher" 
 ="Dakar Medical Equipment" 
 etc. (The content for translation are between the quotes) 
 
 If I check the Excel in Studio, the text doesn't appear in the SDL Editor. 
 And solution for this type of file?

Do a search & replace in the Excel and replace the totally unnecessary and useless formulas with actual text before translating it. I.e. remove the equal signs and quotation marks.
It won't change the Excel functionality at all, but will allow you to translate the texts.

Or... if all the content is like this and it's just a list... copy it into Notepad and paste it back again. That will leave the text in Excel without the formulae.

Also note it's just as simple to put them back. In your text file use a regex search and replace to add the syntax back to the text and then copy paste it back onto excel.
