Unable to add new terms in the TB

Question

Hello everybody, 
 I have already signaled this major issue, which turned out to be a product defect, but the workaround they suggested me is no workaround, it is exaclty the normal procedure for adding a new term in the TB. 
 Quote: 
 "The issue you experience turned out to be a defect, which has been logged under CRQ-10156, and will be fixed in a further release. Until then, as a Workaround, please use Add New Term or Quick add New Term in Studio, and any editing should be done using Multiterm." 
 Is there anybody of you who actually knows how to solve it, at least temporarily?

I actually did the opposite: I switched from older flags to the default layout and it works!!! Thank you so much for your help!!

It would be helpful to know what you see in case there is an error as well? In the meantime, try switching to the older flags layout instead of the default layout and see if this helps?
