Autopropagating to 12 hour time (problems with a.m, p.m.)

Question

I'm reviewing a large document with times converted from 24 to 12 hour time with many repeats and when it autopropagates it adds "AM" or "PM" all on its own before "a.m." or even "p.m." so it autopropagates incorrectly for instance 10:55 to "10:55 AM a.m." There is nothing untoward in options settings. How can I stop this please?

Go to Project Settings - Translation Memory and Automated Translation and then to your specific language pair and under that to Auto-substitution-Dates and Times. There you can change from the long date format (which includes AM/PM) to a more appropriate one. 
 
If that's not enough, you could also disable time recognition in TM settings.
