Difference between "AnyTM: title.anyreverse.sdtlm" and "AnyTM: title.sdtlm"

Question

Hello fellow translators, 
 I have a TM for my translations French into Dutch, called "FR-NL.sdltm". 
 Now I want to use this TM also for my translations from Dutch into French. So in my Settings, I go to "Use...>AnyTM" and select the "FR-NL.sdltm" TM. Apparently, Studio then creates a new TM called "FR-NL.anytmreverse.sdltm". 
 My question: If I want to use this reversed TM for future translations, must I go to "Use...>AnyTM" and then select the original TM (so "FR-NL.sdltm") or select the newly created TM (so "FR-NL.anytmreverse.sdltm"). 
 What is the difference between these two options? Both seem to work.

Thank you Nora! I think it is clear now. 
 
So that means that I can immediately benefit from my colleagues translations in "FR-NL.sdltm" (for translations FR>NL) by using "AnyTM: FR-NL.sdltm" myself (for translations NL>FR)?

You should always use the original TM, that way, any translation units added during translation will be available in both the original and the reverse files. If you use the reverse file as your TM, then the changes will only be saved in that file and not in your original TM, and so you will lose the benefit of using a single TM for two different language directions in terms of keeping all the same information in one TM.
