On opening a project in SDL Rubbish 2017, I get the message "Die angegebene Datei konnte nicht gefunden werden". Afterwards, I am not able to access the search routine. It is greyed out, and CTRL-F does not work either.

What I have done so far:

- Reinstall the program. (It's so ridiculous, in my 20 years of work there's only program I installed more often than once. Yes, it is Studio, which I have re-installed about 5 times so far.)

- Rename/delete the relevant folders/XML files.

- Repair the program in the Windows control center.

None of all these measures works. Is there another idea but to de-install the program and never work with it again? I've had enough now. It's so annoying and time-consuming and it's the most expensive program I have ever used.
