Incorporated Excel and equation file

Question

I'm trying to translate Word (doc and docx tested) and Powerpoint (ppt and ppts tested) files with incorpated Excel graphics and equations. Although we have prepared custom projects on Trados 2017 selecting (in French) "extraire les contenu incorporés" + "extraire les expressions mathématiques" it doesn't work.

I think you'll probably have to extract the Excel files that are embedded in the powerpoint... if you can. Then handle the files separately. I seem to recall modern versions of powerpoint store the files as binary content now and you can't get at them.
