Hello,
I used SDL Trados 2015 Freelance yesterday and today out of the blue, I get the message "License expired".
Could you please explain what is happening? I have changed absolutely nothing.
Thanks.
Kind regards,

This could have caused by a change external to Studio, such as a Windows Update.
When you look at your SDL Trados account licenses page, do you still have an active license displayed?
Firstly, try deleting the Studio.lic file in the following folder on your PC (I've guessed the number 5 but basically select the highest numbered Studio folder that is there if you don't also have a new version):
C:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio5\Data
Then restart your PC and then try opening Studio. If that doesn't help, contact Installation and Licensing Help here:
You will see two buttons. Click on 'Request License reset' and there should be someone available to help you via live chat.
If there isn't, click on 'Submit case' and fill out the form, being sure to give your email address accurately and selecting 'Licensing' from the case type dropdown.
This should get you help within 24 hours.
All the best
