I've just installed Studio 2017 and am translating a file that has a lot of repeated single words. Some start with capitals, some don't. So I'll translate one, say "electrician", and the next word will be "Electrician". Trados point blank refuses to recognise that these two words are the same. In fact, it will translate the word with the capital *completely differently* if it can find some dumb MT. I've played with fuzzies and percentages in both search and batch processing. NOTHING works. I'm taking wayyyy to long with this translation because even though the document is full of repeats, Trados doesn't see them as such. I've never had this problem with the previous versions.

Edit: same problem with sentences ending with/without punctuation. It'll be exactly the same sentence, only one ends with a period and the other one doesn't. Trados does not recognise that they are the same sentence.

This is driving me bonkers, can I have Trados 2015 back?
