Hi,
I have a problem with Studio 14: I've set it up on a new computer, got the license sorted and everything and wanted to use it just now with a packet and it tells me that the packet cannot be opened because it contains languages not included in the installation.
Granted, I didn't pay close attention during the set up process, so I have no idea whether I did something wrong there or how to solve it.Uninstall and reinstall?
Grateful for any advice.

You will have to first find out what languages are included in the package.
You can do this by installing PackageReader, a free app available on the SDL AppStore, to download here:
Click on Download; Login with your SDL user ID; Select the latest version; then it will download.
Unzip the download zip; right-click on PackageReaderSetup.exe and select 'Run as Administrator'; Yes
The following will appear:
Untick 'Open packages in PackageReader' if you don't want it to automatically open every package you receive (at least I think that's what it means); Click 'Install PackageReader now'.
To use it, click on it in your programs list; select 'Open package now'; navigate to the package
This screen will appear and you'll see the languages and content of the package:
If you have to work with the package as it is then yes, uninstall and reinstall making sure you include the languages you see in this screen in the 5 you have to select when installing.
Alternatively, if the client has included the wrong language/s in the package, they must send you a package that includes the right languages for you.
