Problems Opening New Documents in Trados Studio 2017

I have a bug in my Trados Studio 2017. When I try to open new documents, it opens a screen asking to choose origin and target language. I click them and it doesn't open the option to choose a translation memory or create a new one, thus I can't open new documents in my studio. I changed emails with technical support and they gave me this solution: gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge.
I ran a repair as said in Workaround 1 and it didn't solve the problem.

Then, I tried Workaround 2, but couldn't find the files that needed to be renamed. Could that be the problem? (My Windows is configured to show hidden files as indicated).

Can anyone help me?
