Memory not working...

I'm using Studio 2017. I translated a document this morning. Then I have a very similar document to translate and Studio is not filling out the segments with my previous translations. It's like everything I translated this morning did not get registered. When I hit F3, it doesn't suggest the translation I did this  morning. Tried rebooting to no avail. And when I do reboot, the "first use" screen comes up....? I've been using this version since it came out. And it erases all my settings and shortcuts and I have to redo them all. Any ideas?

Did you "Batch Tasks" / "Finalize"? This process updates the main translations memories. At any rate, if you didn't do that all your translated segments are there in the .sdlxliff file. Regarding "rebooting", do you mean to say shutting down and restarting your computer? Why? I read a lot about this procedure here in this forum. You need not restart your computer when you don't remember where you saved your data. Restarting a computer is the last of the last resorts and only if your PC is not well maintained or does not have enough resources (memory, hard disk capacity, processor, etc.).
