It is worth trying that, yes. Open MultiTerm and click on the Help tab then on 'Check for Updates'.

I would recommend then running a Windows Repair on MultiTerm Core and MultiTerm Desktop, and on SDL Studio. Here's how:

1. Close all SDL applications.
2. Open the Control Panel:
   • Windows Vista/7: Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
   • Windows 8: Right-click on the screen at bottom-left corner and choose Control Panel > Uninstall a Program.
   • Windows 10: Right-click on Start > Control Panel > Select View by: Small Icons > Programs and Features
   • - or type 'Control Panel' in the search line on your bottom Windows toolbar.
3. Click/highlight the relevant SDL product from the list (e.g. SDL Trados Studio 2017 SR1) and click 'Repair' either on the top toolbar or on the right-click dropdown menu.
4. Restart Studio/MultiTerm.

Dear Alison,

I did all of the above but the problem is still within Studio AND Multiterm. There was not update available for Multiterm, but I tried to make an entry directly and got a strange behaviour as you can see on the picture. The French appearing two times, being empty in one case,  is also the view within Studio.

I believe that the update "Studio 2017 SR1 - 14.1.10012.29730" has generated the issue. This is really annoying, I need to work!

Is there a way to revert to the previous version of Studio?

Try uninstalling the last cumulative updates for MultiTerm AND Studio here:

via Control Panel > Programs and Features > View Installed Updates 

then uninstall both of the MultiTerm 2017 CU6 updates and both of the Studio 2017 CU12 updates
