Do you have a grammar checker enabled?
If you use AV, is Studio whitelisted?
Both the grammar checker and the antivirus software can be a contributor to this problem.
So far I used Studio 2019 on a 2500 words project and did not experience any of your problems.
Hi, my suggestion is that you should turn off "update translation memory" after manually confirming segment translation in the editor submenu under File-option. It seems help.
