Widget Settings.xml is empty and it is suggested to load SDL*Trados Studio 2017 again.

Question

My last version is 5.129730.0 which was set 6.08.2018.SDL Multiterm was updated today 30.08.2018. Version 14.2.23639.0 Should I load SDL again or there are any other simpler ways?

Hello, Alison. Thank you for your quick answer. 
 
You are absolutely right: I checked my updated versions - they coincide with yours. 
 
I was able to solve my problem by creating a new file WidgetSettings.xml and replacing the corrupted one, which was renamed previously. Than I fulfilled some steps that were offered by SDL installer and...it works now. Some writings appeared in the new file. Suppose everything is OK.

 Are you saying you have the latest version of Studio and MultiTerm 2017? Those version numbers don't look like the latest. 
 These are the latest version numbers (via the Help tab > About SDL Trados...)

Could you double check that it is 2017 you are using, and let us know on what version of Windows...
