Hello Anyone,

I've had this bug 3 times now, so far with short jobs but I worry this could happen with larger texts.

When trying to open a fullly (100%) translated xlf-file sent by a colleague (in order for me to edit it), I am totally unable to open it and get the following error-message:

invalid structure of the trans-unit id 57c3376e-484d-47f5-bca4-6a4220088340

The 3 times it happened, I was forced to re-translate the whole thing. This worries me for potential future jobs that would be longer to process.

A strange detail is that this "bug" does not happen with ALL xlf files, only with some of them, and I cannot say what is different in those.

What is the cause of this ? And most of all, is there a solution? Is it of any use that I uninstall-reinstall Studio 2017 or that I upgrade to Studio 2019?

Please if you can help me, answer me in a very basic language as I am very far from being a know-all as far as Studio is concerned. I can translate with it, but that's about all :-) (many of the answers that I read here to other questions are very confusing for me...)
