Cryptic error message when changing segmentation rules in TM: ‘A strict hashing TM cannot be downgraded to use legacy hashes.’

Question

I just: 
 1. upgraded five TMs into a single TM, then 
 2. added one abbreviation to a TM, and then 
 3. added three segmentation rules, one of which this one: http://noradiaz.blogspot.com/2014/01/adding-soft-return-segmentation-rule-to.html 
 &hellip; and suddenly got the following cryptic error message. 
 I managed to click it away, but am not sure if I should be worried about my TM. What does it mean?

Hi Michael

You're error message sounds like it is related to a bug in 2017, you can read the details here:
community.sdl.com/.../66296

My guess is the 5 TMs were from 2017 and you merged them into one in 2019?
I would suggest using the workarounds shown in the post above.
