I keep having trouble with opening SDLxliff files for some mysterious reason. This is the error message I get: Corrupt file: Missing sub-segment content trans-unit with ID. Any ideas?

Dear Melisa,
I have exactly the same problem when I use the advanced filter and create a .sdliff file from filtered segments; I can´t open it, tried several times with other files translating as a single document but also happens in project mode.

Options have moved on a bit since this thread 5-years ago. I recommend you install studioViews from the appstore. This will allow you to filter in the editor using the advanced display filter and then use studioViews to create an XLIFF with only the filtered segments. You can also import the translated XLIFF again afterwards and it will update your original project.
A much better solution.
