Line break Rules

Question

Hey there, 
 I could really use some help! I'm translating an excel file and there are some cells with lots sentences with code. I'm trying to get the sentences within those cells to show up as their own segments using the instuction in this article http://noradiaz.blogspot.com/2014/01/adding-soft-return-segmentation-rule-to.html , but adding this segmentation rule did not solve this issue. 
 Does anyone know how to solve this? Here is an example of what my work looks like...

Perhaps the issue relates to the tagging parser rules and making them structural rather than inline? But if you can share a small sample file we can have a play and try to suggest a solution for you.

You were correct! I had some protecting tags set up and that was preventing me from achieving the line breaks that i wanted. I simply deleted all those tagging rules and reopened the file and VOILA!
