Quick Add Term is incredibly slow and no different to Add Term

Question

I am using the latest version of Trados Studio 2019 and have not altered the default window layout. 
 Adding a new term using either Quick Add Term or Add Term is incredibly slow. 
 Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

 We have updated the plugin so it now checks for duplicates as well: 
 https://appstore.sdl.com/language/app/rapid-add-term/1050/ 
 You can't add an existing term with this app so you'll need to add with the out of the box add term feature if you decide you want to add a duplicate anyway. But at least you can safely work through with this app and it won't add duplicates in addition to correctly adding synonyms. Quite a neat little plugin.

Can you please ensure that your Studio and Multiterm are updated --> click on the Help tab --> updates and after they are updated, please add Studio and Multiterm to the white list of your Antivirus software. Then reboot the machine and see if this helps.
