I am using the latest version of Trados Studio 2019 and have not altered the default window layout.
Adding a new term using either Quick Add Term or Add Term is incredibly slow.
Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?
Thank you,
Neil

Can you define which TermBase this app adds terms to? That would be incredibly practical, because the way it functions is more like adding to a glossary, not to a termbase. This would allow to quickly add term pairs to a glossary, while reserving CTRL+F2 for proper terminology additions.

We have been looking at this. It's been a long standing problem I would love to be able to solve that you can only add terms to the default termbase and this is currently a restriction of the way Studio/MultiTerm works. I know it might sound bizarre, especially to people who are not developers, but we can't actually return a list of termbases in the project to be able to pick one and then say add to that.
But I like your thought process and will revist this just in case there is some way we could somehow "force" this to work outside of the normal process. The idea of a no-questions-asked solution like this is certainly a glossary thing and perfect for building rapid candidate lists for a curated solution later on.
