I have source file in Word, I want to generate the target file as bilingual.

Please guide me how can I do so?

Condition 1: I do not want to spend money
Condition 2: I do not need old style

then you have only one choice "Export for Bilingual Review"
    Now, I'm adding

Condition 3: I do want simple result.

Now, you got nothing, unless you have excellent MS Word VBA skills.

Let me make it clearer with screenshots.

Screenshot of Trados Studio interface showing original sdlxliff status with a document open in the background.

Screenshot of Trados Studio 'Export for Bilingual Review' dialog box with options for exporting a document.

Screenshot of a Word document titled 'myResult, sentence level' with highlighted text indicating changes.

Screenshot of a Word document titled 'myResult, paragraph level' with continuous text and no visible highlights.

    regards

Don't you see the point here ?
  • Hi

I think the point is that you are once again sharing solutions that you have created for yourself and don't want to make them available through any recognised distribution network.

I like your solution as another option, but it might be sensible to see what the original poster actually wanted before sharing your alternative. She only asked for a blingual file and in my view any one of the, now four solutions, could be ok for her needs.

But I do, as always, wish you would play more inclusively if you wish to keep doing this. It doesn't cost you anything, and it gives more value to your solutions because they will be seen as trusted by SDL.
