SDL Studio 2019 and MSWord grammar checker

 2 issues. 
 First (and I think this has been addressed elsewhere but I would like to reiterate), MSWord Grammar Checker in Studio 2019 is very, very slow. Using F8 on a 500 word file without Grammar Checker takes about 1 second. With Grammar Checker (with or without error description) takes 5 minutes. On a 14,000 word file, F8 with Grammar Checker took 45 minutes. 
 Second, Grammar Checker worked fine on a couple of files, but F8 no longer checks grammar. Grammar Checker is activated in File > Options and in the specific Project Setting. Grammar errors (even ones included deliberately as a test) are not detected either while typing or after using F8. 
 Does anyone have a workaround?

There are a few things to note here: 
 
1. MSWord Grammar Checker is unreliable even in MSWord 
2. There is no public API available from MSWord so this leaves it vulnerable to problems with each release of Word. 
3. Try unchecking "Show error description" if you have it checked 
 
We were going to pull the Grammar Checker from the appstore because we have had so many problems with the integration that we are unable to fix reliably, but some users still find it works for them, so we left it. 
 
I'd recommend trying the LanguageTool plugin instead. It takes a little more to get it set up, but I think it's more reliable.
