Repeated error message "Parameter not valid"

Hello, this is my first question to the community and I hope you guys can help :)

I recently started getting an error message saying "Parameter is not valid" whenever I get towards the end of a file (i.e. the bottom of the Editor window).

I keep getting the same error message regardless of the file format, the TM or the options I use. The whole editor freezes and I am unable to type anything in any of the segments, so I have to save, close and re-open the document to finish it. The message itself does not give me any other info, perhaps you know what it means or have experienced something similar?

    I understand, it can be a bit scary to change something in that way but I assure you there is no danger of problems.

    You just need to close Studio and MultiTerm and rename that folder then open Studio again and the software will create a new, fresh folder with that name. Always, without fail. No risk at all.

    You can even delete that folder with no worry that it will cause problems.

    SDL Freshstart is indeed also available for Trados 2019, free of charge and is designed for use by people who don't want to take any risks renaming folders.

    I'm sorry you're disappointed with this wonderful tool. I'm sure that once you have used it for a while, you'll love it as much as I do. I've been freelancing using this product and its predecessor  for well over 10 years now and I would never change to a different CAT tool. This one's too useful.

    As you've had this problem since you last installed, you have the right to free help from SDL Support. So much easier than the solutions I've suggested is to go to the following page:

    Fill in the form, giving details of the problem and what you've tried already. Select 'Installation' from the 'Case type' dropdown and, most importantly, give your correct email address so that they can contact you.
