Hello Everyone,
I am just new with SDL Trados 2019 and suddenly I got a project from a customer who is using MemoQ server. Very diligently they sent me the link for installing the memoQ plug-in (https://www.memoq.com/en/memoq-plugin-for-trados-studio) so I can have access to their MemoQ server and TM while doing the translation in Trados.
However, though I tried to follow the steps of the user's guide offered on http://kilgray.com/memoq/StudioPlugin/help-en/index.html, I am afraid I finally got lost in the process...
The description is as follows:
This description follows SDL Trados Studio 2015.
To set up your TMs from memoQ server or Language Terminal, follow these steps:
1.Start SDL Trados Studio.
2.Create a project. Make sure you have at least one translation memory on memoQ server or on Language Terminal – for at least one of the language pairs in your project.
3.On the Home ribbon, click Project Settings.
4.In the Project Settings dialog – on the left – expand Language Pairs, and then either a language pair, or All Language Pairs:
And this last step is where I do not see the previously installed memoQ TM Plugin at all, so I do not know indeed where I went wrong.
If somebody please help me with some advice about what more to try, i would be very grateful.
Thank you in advance.
Viktoria
