Problem with .idml file in Trados 2019

Question

Hi there, 
 This is the first time this client asks me to work on their .idml files, unfortunately when trying to load it in Trados 2019 I get a standard error of the type: "version of InDesign not supported). 
 The file was created in InDesign 14.0.1 
 I can load it in my old version of MemoQ Pro 7, but I really do need an SDLXLIFF file for interchange with my proofreader. 
 Is there a workaround, something I should try?

In summary, when creating a project, go to File Types > Adobe InDesign CS4-CC IDML > Common, and tick the box next to Process unsupported file versions.
