what is the best way to populate the acronyms underlined in blue?

Hello everyone, 
 I consider myself pretty new with TRADOS and I was wondering if you can help me. I see the acronyms underlined in blue, and when I press (Ctrl,) I can choose from them? Is this the easiest way to do it? I saw on a video that if you type the first letter the system starts typing it for you, but I don&acute;t know how to activate it. 
 And, because I want to be able to use all that my software offers, I would like to take a training session, any recomendations on where to start?

Hello Salome Koloffon Tella (SalomeKoloffon Tella) , 
 Blue Square brackets indicate a 'placeable' (so content that does not need translating e.g.100% or the acronym NATO for instance-or even dates/times 
 For this to work (activate) you need to have added a TM to the project and then Studio will format this in the source correctly depending on the target. 
 An example of this would for instance the date 29.01.2019 (UK EN) but would be automatically changed to 01.29.2019 in US EN. 
 Training is essential for all new users of CAT tools and does allow you get the best out of Studio-
