Why can't I select MT profile when using KantanMT Connector in Trados Studio 2019?

Hi,

 

recently we are testing Trados Studio 2019 SR1, and there seems to be no option to select the appropriate Kantan MT profile, aka engine with language pairs.

We have selected the right language pairs, German (Germany) and English (U.S).

There was no such option available when creating a new project, using project template or subsequent settings. It seems like there are parts missing, with no option to select MT profile. Please see the picture below:

    I have contacted KantanMt on this issue, they have updated the description for the plugin:

    "**Updated to Version 3.0.1 for Studio 2019**

    KantanMT API Connector for SDL Trados Studio 2019 has a simplified options interface which now supports multilingual projects. It also includes the ability to adapt KantanMT engines on the fly. The "Upload" feature can be enabled on a per language pair or per project basis. When segment translations are completed they are automatically sent to KantanMT to adapt your KantanMT engine.

    Allows the use of the KantanMT API as a translation provider with a KantanMT account. The KantanMT API connector is a plugin for SDL Trados Studio 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2017 which allows Studio users to launch and shut down their engines for API use and retrieve translations on demand from their engines.

    Once installed, you will find the option to choose KantanMT API connector for your installed versions of Trados Studios as an MT provider to use in your translation projects and proceed to fill in your Kantan credentials.
