When I disable the TMs attached to my project, I can open all target files for the 8 languages in the Editor!
I made 3 tests:
Same result as before for the 2 tests: can't open sdlxliff (unexpexted contents) except in the target languages were I disabled the TMs.
When I add a source Word file where Russian is set as a proofing language, every thing works fine i.e. I can safely open it and run analysis.
It seems there's a conflict between TMs and sdlxliff files.
Can you please help?
Thanks in advance,
Vanessa
Hello Vanessa Lecot,
since idml files are essentially XML files, I wonder whether this KB article will help you?
https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0031075
You would not be able to use the fix suggested there because the idml filter does not allow you to modify the parser, but you'd be one step forward and you would know exactly which part of the idml is causing the issue.

The fact is that when I disable my TMs from this project, I can open the sdlxliff file without problems. So, as suggested previsouly, I think that this is where the problem comes from.
Do you have any idea?
If we add new TM with SDL standard default settings (while mine contain more abbreviation list + tab as segmentation rule), the file can be analyzed, with negative words:
Hello
I have a very big issue with my Studio 2017 project and I have to run analysis for a urgent quote
In my 8LG project, source idml files are converted in sdlxliff for each language but I can't open them in Multiple files, see message below. (When I open them 1 by one, I have this message for only one file, all the other correctly open)
