Hi,
We have a client that uses Adobe FrameMaker 2019 that is having to downsave to 2017, create MIF in 2017. Do we have any planned date for FM 2019 support?
Trados Studio SR1 release notes (sdl.ssl.cdn.sdlmedia.com/636796987913416620FE.pdf) says:
Adobe FrameMaker Trados Studio 2019 SR1 supports Adobe FrameMaker 2018, 2017, 13.x (released as FrameMaker 2015), 12.x, 11.x, 10.x, 9.x and 8.x.

I just came across this thread because we are, too, confused by the FrameMaker version names in Studio.
We are actually working with Studio 2017 SR1 CU14.
Release notes for CU13 state:
FrameMaker MIF:
The FrameMaker file type says "Adobe FrameMaker 8-2018 MIF"
When trying to process a mif file created in FrameMaker 2019 we get the error message, that the file was created in a version later than FrameMaker 18 and cannot be processed.
Which version of FrameMaker is Studio referring to when using 2018 or 18?
When activating the "process unsupported file versions" option there is no problem processing the FrameMaker 2019 files. However, we are unsure if they are officially supported in Studio 2017 SR1 CU13 and newer, since there is no FrameMaker version 2018.
