Auto-propagate in review mode

Question

Hi all, 
 I don't know if this issue has been addressed before. 
 How can I auto-propagate revisions from previous revisions? 
 That is to say, when I review a text with repititions from another text that I have already reviewed before, there is no way to auto propagate my last revision.

Auto-propagate exact match to confirmed segments AND Auto propagate from FIRST segment in the document. 
It is worth mentioning, that experimenting with settings there has really big influence on the efficiency of your work.

Hi Mohamed Chebbab 
 To expand on what Jerzy has just suggested to you, which I feel does meet your requirements if I've understood them correctly... 
 When I'm proofreading, if I am in a situation where I need certain things to be confirmed automatically in one action, I use a translation memory to which I have confirmed/cleaned all such phrases, then I use that TM to pretranslate the documents, using the following settings: 
 
 This overwrites anything in the document and confirms it as Translation Approved, but leaves all the rest of the content in the SDLXLIFF exactly as it was translated. Then I can open the SDLXLIFF, use the display filter to display locked units only and scroll through them quickly to be sure that they're OK, then unlock them by highlighting them all (Alt+Shift+A in Studio 2019 CU2) and then I click Ctrl+L to unlock them all. Job done. 
 You could do all of that without locking, of course. 
 You must be sure that what you are doing is correct as you cannot undo this action. Best to try it out first with a backed up copy of the file. 
 It is polite to first be sure that your client is happy for you to do this. Also, if any of the content you pretranslate wasn't 100% match when they sent it to you, they will be able to see the new 100%/CM properties in the SDLXLIFF you return to them...

If you confirm this "Dear Sir" once, with the proper settings of Auto Propagation all occurrences should be replaced exactly with what you've confirmed now. If this does not work, maybe you would need to change the status of all segments to a status below the current action you are performing. For example, if all segments have the status "translated", but you open the document "for review", you have a "higher status", so segments confirmed by you should overwrite previous translations in case of auto propagation (see the settings mentioned above). However, if the segments have status "translation approved" and you open the file for translation, in case of auto propagation - even with the mentioned settings - nothing should happen, as the status "translated" you're applying in this case is lower than "translation approved". So the first step (of course, if not already taken) would be to open the document for the next higher task in Studio. The tasks are Translate -> Review -> Sign off in that very order. 
So this is the first part. 
The other solution would be simply use the display filter and show all segments containing this "Dear Sir", then select them all (possible with a shortcut in S2019), remove all target content and just auto propagate the first occurrence again. 
Or you just use the "Search & replace" function, replace as necessary and then confirm the segments in one go in the end. When the segments are in draft status or translated status and you've opened a file for review, when closing the file WITHOUT having previously literally confirmed every single segment, Studio will ask you, if you want to finish the review process for the remaining segments. If you say yes, all segments with the status "draft" and "translated" will be brought to the status "Translation approved". Only segments having the status "not translated" or "Translation rejected" and of course all segments with a higher status (like "Signed off" or "Sign off rejected") will keep their status. 
So if you change "Dear Sir" to "Ladies and Gentlemen", you do not need to confirm each and every segment - Studio will do that for you, when finishing the review process. This of course provided, when you've opened the document for review. 
 
But as far as I understood your concern, the best solution would be to prevent this happening alltogether. This means, you need to communicate to the person/vendor, who's delivering this wrong translation, to translate it properly. This is what I meant with my "production process example". This means avoiding errors instead of only correcting them.

 I think I have misunderstood what you wanted to know. 
 Firstly... 
 'Translation approved' means that the Reviewer has read the translation and approved it. This status is given when you have opened the document in Review mode and you hit Ctrl+Enter to confirm the segment and move to the next one. As Jerzy Czopik has explained, the next higher task after Translation is Review . To use Review mode if you aren't already doing so, select 'Open for Review' not 'Open for Translation' when you open the document in Editor. 
 If you are specifically asking if there is a setting for automatic recognition and confirmation of just the one segment 'Dear Sir' before/when you open the file then the answer is no but you can do it when you close the document, in Review mode . 
 Here's how... 
 If you wish to avoid c licking Ctrl+Enter then either place your cursor into the segment that you do want to read, or use the Down arrow. 
 Then, in Review mode, when have finished reading and want to 'Close Document', the program asks you the following question: 
 
 Clicking 'Yes' will automatically confirm any segments that you have not confirmed (as 'Translation approved'). Job done. 
 My suggestion of pretranslation was because I thought you were using 'Dear Sir' as an example and that there were lots of segments (and repetitions within the same document) that you wished to avoid reading again, rather than just that one. If there are lots of repetitions in the same file, as Jerzy Czopik has explained, autopropagation is the logical way to deal with them quickly.
