SDL Studio 2017 compatible with Microsoft Server 2019?

We have a question about the operating system. Is SDL Studio 2017 compatible with Microsoft Server 2019? Is it possible to install and run it on that system?

  • Hello ,

As Windows Server was only released this year (Beta releases Autumn 2018) we will not have tested 2017 on this environment.
The current release notes for Studio 2019 are as follows-

Operating Systems•Trados Studio 2019 runs on the latest build of Windows 10, the latest updated version of Windows8.1 and the latest service-packed version of Windows 7. Trados Studio 2019 also supports WindowsServer 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2008 R2 to facilitate certain scenarios, for example where Citrix terminal services are used.•Studio does not support earlier operating systems such as Windows 8, Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server.•SDL recommends that you use the same operating system as the other users with whom you are Installing SDLTrados Studio 2019

    Hope this helps.
