delete all tags from source language

Question

how do I remove all tags from the source language part of an sdlxliff? I have a PDF document with many images, but I need to translate only the text because I have to change all the images later, so how can I remove all the tags? and which is the best way to then add the new images?

Removing formatting and images should definitely be done before you inport the pdf into Studio if you can. Use Acrobat Pro to convert to Word if you can. Select the option to skip all images. 
Replacing the images can be done in Word or InDsign, I think Studio is not the program for that - it's a CAT tool.
