Studio window won't respond in Win7 - stuck in the task bar

Dear experts,

we run five Trados Studio 2011 applications in our office, all on Win7. Every now and then each of us encounters the followong problem:

the Studio window tends to get stuck in the task bar - it simply remains minimized at the task bar. "Maximize" option through a right mouse click does not always work. It is quite an annoying glitch since our workflow involves frequent switching between different windows (firefox, word, excel, software dictionaries, multiterm).

Any suggestions? Bug fixes? Java updates?

Thank you in advance,

K.

Yes, we experience such problem only with Trados Studio (Multiterm window responds flawlessly). It really annoys not being able to quickly switch back to Studio after doing a brief term look-up on the net. It's pretty much a psychological moment. Some of our translators even try avoiding switching to other windows for fear of not being able to switch back, which is a negative thing.

I'll check the options C and D whenever the problem pops up and give you my feedback.

In fact, there is another option: task manager -> "applications" -> right-click Studio and select "Bring to front".

    Thank you,

    Kirill
