How can I translate a heavy formatted book (several pdf files) in Studio and deliver inDesign files?

Hi, 
 My publisher gave me a book divided into 16 pdf files and I need to translate it in Studio. The book has heavy layout/formatting. 
 I know that the target files will be imported into inDesign CC 2019 by the publisher's graphic designer who is responsible for making the pagination of the book. 
 So, I need to figure out how to convert the source .pdfs into .indb and then work with the .indb files in Studio and deliver target .indb files. 
 
 OS: Mac High Sierra & Windows 7 Ultimate

Hi Evdoxia Renta 
You can not convert pdfs into indds. That is simply not possible. The best (and this will likely save you many hours of work) is to get the InDesign files (idml, not indd) from the publisher. Studio will read them, extract the text nicely, regardless of formatting, and turn out a formatted InDesign file (idml). I would by all means try to do that. To work with 16 heavily formatted pdf files sounds like a nightmare to me.
