When shortcuts fail, the most often cause is because another program is using the same shortcut or that the shortcut is not valid in Studio-

So the first thing to check would be the settings in Studio-

And maybe reset to default.

If this does not work, then it is worth looking at third party programs and the installed shortcuts to see where the conflict is arising.

I have the exact same problem. For a few instances it works and then later on after a few minutes it stops working (regardless of the file size etc). Highly annoying and I have therefore stopped using Studio 2019 altogether. Again, money not well spent and not what is needed in a hectic working environment such as ours.

I tested Studio 2019 2 weeks now and I changed back to Studio 2017. Reason is the above frustrating search functions working/not working and that Studio 2019 is slower in response (on the same computer and same projects.......)
